One trip to a plant store and my entire left arm is red, bumpy and itchy as hell!

Couldn't get into work this morning. Now that in itself isn't quite as bad (since you know...wahey, day off and all that), but the circumstances surrounding the reasons as to why I couldn't go to work weren't all that good.

There were some problems with the trains because of a (thunder)storm last night. This was going on all around the country and since a lot of people rely on public transport, chances are that I wasn't the only pissed off person this morning.
Got to the station this morning (at 8:35), get on the first train that arrives and then after about two stops we hear over the intercom that the train won't be going any further because of a malfunction. Great.

Now guess at what time I was able to take a train back? At 11. I was stuck for two hours in the middle of butt-fucking nowhere while waiting for a god-damn train. Yeah, that's exactly how I like to spend my mornings.

At least I had my ipod and enough cigarettes with me to kill the time. If I hadn't had that, then I'd have really been pissed.

I just spent about an hour and a half stuck on my balcony...

I was cleaning the windows and shut the door to the balcony for a few seconds while I was doing the last window (I had to because the door sort of blocks it) and then one of my idiot cats puts his front paws on the safety lock and locks the damn thing!!!

I tried everything from pulling the door open, trying to lift it from it's hinges (which didn't work), crawling in through the small window above the door or even breaking a window (which I didn't want to do)...nothing worked.

What worked in the end was the most stupid thing ever...

I took off my belt and attached a plastic hook to it which I use to hang my plants on the ledge. That wasn't long enough...so I hung a second one on it...didn't work either...hung a third one on it...struggled to get the entire thing through the window, but I managed to get the lock open in the end.

YATTA!

Please excuse me while I go and kill Stumpy now...

I'm not going to be home when the first episode of Robin Hood airs.

My parents just got home from their holiday last thursday and she asked me if I'd heard anything about a party that my uncle and aunt were going to have. So I said no (hardly ever talk to any relatives from my mother's side).

Now she just called me and told me we were going to have dinner over at my other aunt and uncle next thursday because of my nephew's birthday. Well, ok, she's a good cook and I get along with them really well, so fine.

Then she just pops into the conversation that oh yeah, my uncle and aunt are having their party next saturday and that my parents were going to come pick me up at 14:30.
So I asked her how long it was going to last and my mom didn't know. She said we'll probably leave at around 7ish, but there was no way of telling that up front.

Now...if we leave at around 7 and RH start at 19:50 (remember...hour later over here) then there is no way I'm going to be home in time. We could leave at 8 for all I know and I'll miss the entire episode.

I know I can tape it, I was going to do that anyway, but that's beside the point here!

I have to go to this party, there's no saying "I can't go" because there's not getting out of this!

I am not a happy camper right now! ARGH!
