One trip to a plant store and my entire left arm is red, bumpy and itchy as hell!

So next Monday is going to be my last day at my current job and I'm not looking forward to that at all, but I'm happy for the work experience that I got there. It's another thing that I can add to my CV at the least.

But I've gotten a couple of people asking me "So what are you going to do now? Going back to school?"

See, some people there actually thought that I was an intern. Apparently I look that young.
When I reply by saying "No, I haven't been to school for about ten years", I get "How old are you then?" "29" "..."

Yes, I look more like I'm in my early 20s then like someone who will turn 30 next year. I still think that it is highly amusing because I get that all the time. Someone who I've known for years thought that I was 19 when I was actually 26.

When I'll hit my 40s, I'll no doubt be ecstatic over this fact. If people still think that I'm 8 years younger than I actually am by that time that is.

Bugger. It's so humid. Where's that rain when you need it?
Got the parents' dog over for the weekend and I love her, but walking her in this weather is something that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

One of the cats is being so cute with her though. He really has no problems with the dog staying over whatsoever. When she first arrived, he walked straight up to her and he's even trying to play with her now. He's not even put off by the fact that the dog isn't that keen on playing with him! He just keeps trying.
His brother though...now that's another story. That cat is so incredibly pissed off that the dog is staying over and has already attacked her twice for no reason other than that the dog was in his way.

This should be fun come September because then she'll be staying over for a couple of weeks while my parents and my brother go to Canada.

Had another truly excellent day at the beach yesterday! Ended up with a slight sunburn (only on my shoulders) and I burned my feet on the hot sand when we left.
We've already made plans to go again next week if the weather stays this good.

And this is a meme that I stole from biffyhouse concerning 30 guys that I consider to be hot.

Went swimming for the first time in ages today. I'd forgotten how much fun it was. Getting sea water up your nose is not fun, but that minor annoyance didn't last long. Shortly after I was diving into waves and kept going "lets go again!".

I'll get that chance again tomorrow XD

P.S. And I apologize for the lack of replies lately. I've been a bit lethargic the last couple of days.

P.P.S. Still haven't seen the RH finale either...

For the first time in god knows how long I have made Allan art.
I was looking at my Izzy/Thornton sig over on JAFF and I felt that a brand spanking new Allan sig was in order.



And I can smell food. I'm getting hungry now.

Anyone seen Top Gear just now? Stephen Fry was so skinny! All that I can say is good for him!
He did mention the growing size of his "man bosom" quite a bit in the last series of QI. Shame to see them go XD

And I just felt like sharing the following because it was absolutely brilliant.

Ignore the title. I was watching Angry Beavers earlier and that cartoon always makes me ridiculously giddy XD

So...the finale of Robin Hood tonight and I think that the largest part of my friendlist is not excited about it or not going to watch. I will watch it and will no doubt be crying my eyes out over a certain someone (I'm talking about Sam here who's facial expression made me tear up last week) and reaching for a barf bag at the same time over another certain something (you know what I mean).
At least I'll have some distraction in the form of a couple of friends of mine playing a gig nearby which will be fun.

And I seem to have developed a huge liking for Lee Pace lately and I've never even seen him in anything! I blame his smile.



I think that I'll have to be forced to see if my local dvd-store has The Fall. It does seem like a movie that I will like loads.

It's been getting warmer and warmer round here. It'll no doubt be hell tomorrow and rain in the evening/weekend apparently so I'll probably be complaining about that come Saturday *snort*

And the Robin Hood finale. Must not forget that. I'm not even that excited about it anymore. Weird that.

Anyone else watching Psychoville by the way? My god that show is weird.
Joy is probably my favourite, but feel free to call me biased since I've always loved Dawn French (she reminds me of my aunt). David and Maureen are also hilariously weird.

I thought that she was married to Adam Goldberg!

Rewatching Gundam 00 even if my "must watch" and "must finish watching" list is pretty large (10 animes on that list at the moment).

I know that it's an anime that's originally aimed at guys (big robots blowing shit up), but they just stuck way too many good-looking animated boys in it for women to ignore it.









It's all about the Setsuna love people. And Tieria (who dresses up as a woman in S2 for fuck's sakes).

And why don't I have a Feldt Grace icon by the way? She rules... Same thing goes for Wang Lui Mei.
